Recent updates to Quickr have introduced new features in the Design App, making it easier to integrate new construction projects.
Grid in the Design App
The first feature is a grid, which can be accessed via Design App > Map Layers (top right) > Grid . This tool allows you to use the grid at various zoom levels, enabling faster and more accurate drawing of a building’s dimensions.
90-Degree Arc
The second feature is the 90-degree arc. This tool helps you draw perfectly perpendicular angles when designing roof surfaces, providing more precise results during the integration process.
Adjustable Roof Edge Distances
The third and final feature is the ability to adjust roof edge distances. This functionality will be included in the upcoming update. But how does it work? Let’s explain using an example:
Suppose you draw a roof surface from A to B to C to D and then back to A. If you modify the roof edge distance between A and B, the edge distance from B will automatically adjust—either extending or shortening in the same direction.
